HD24 XR
The Alesis HD24-XR is the same unit as the standard HD24, but has the EC2 upgrade kit already installed which gives you true 24bit/96K resolution.
With 24 tracks, two-hotswappable bays, Built-in computer interface. Resolution up to 24-bit/96kHz - and offering incredible performance and stability, thanks to our own proprietary patent-pending method of writing to the hard-drive - designed and built from the ground up exclusively for recording music, not data. The first hard-disk recorder designed to match ADAT's legendary performance and affordability - and fit into any existing ADAT system.
The HD24 XR allows you (via it's upgraded converters) to record in true 24 bit/96k resolution. Of course, the unit becomes a twelve track recorder when used in 24/96 mode. The HD24 XR can be used in both "normal" mode (24 bit 48k resolution-24 track operation), and 24/96 (12 track operation). This is selected via the front panel
